Kobe Bryant, probably our current era’s most outstanding basketball genius, explains in simple, practical terms, how meditating every morning sets the right tone for his whole day.

Kobe has shown tremendous determination to get where he is, struggling with injuries and facing a level of competition you don’t find in many places. His story is beautifully told in the documentary, Kobe Bryant’s Muse. Clearly, mental resilience is a huge part of his success, and in meditation he has found an important tool to give him the inner strength and calm he needs.

I’m so inspired to see such an important role model, particularly one for so many young men, speaking out like this. He can inspire millions to improve their lives with this time-tested practice.

I like basketball, but I’m really not such a huge fan. But this morning I just have to say it; Go Lakers!
